HADITH OF THE DAY:
HOPE AND FEAR
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) visited a young man who was dying and asked him how he was feeling.
The man replied: "I am hoping (for God's Mercy)...but I am afraid (of punishment) for my sins."
The Prophet then said: "The two (feelings) cannot come together in a man's heart at such a time without God giving him what he hopes for and granting him security from what he fears."
