VERSE:

BE TRUTHFUL IN WORD AND DEED

"O you who have faith! Remain conscious of God and be with those who are truthful in word and deed."

The Holy Quran, 9:119


HADITH OF THE DAY:

A TRUTHFUL TONGUE

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to recite this supplication in his prayers:

"O God, I beg of Thee steadfastness in (righteous) affairs and firm determination (to adhere to the path) of righteousness. I beg Thee to make me grateful for Thy favor and the excellence of the worship of Thee. I beg of Thee a sound heart and a truthful tongue. . ."
