'O GOD, CONCEAL MY FAULTS'

HADITH OF THE DAY:

'O GOD, CONCEAL MY FAULTS'

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would offer the following supplication in the evening and in the morning:

"O God, I ask Thee for security in this world and in the Hereafter. O God, I ask Thee for forgiveness and security in my religion and my worldly affairs, (and) in my family and my property. O God, conceal my faults and keep me safe from the things that I fear…"

Sunan of Abu-Dawood, Hadith 2396

The Prophet also said:

"The servant (whose faults) God conceals in this world, God will also conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection."
