HADITH OF THE DAY:
ITIKAF - THE LAST TEN DAYS OF RAMADAN
A wife of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"(The Prophet) would strive (to do acts of worship) during the last ten days of Ramadan more than he would at any other time."
Fiqh-us-Sunnah, Volume 3, Number 133B
NOTE:
Many Muslims perform "itikaf," a spiritual retreat in a mosque, during the last ten days of Ramadan.
